Christie Ann is an electronic artist based in Los Angeles, California. She began her music career in high school by learning to play classical, blues, and rock guitar styles. Christie worked in a few bands in college where she studied audio recording at the University of Missouri in Kansas City.
After moving to Los Angeles, Christie began taking vocal lessons after deciding to move from rhythm guitar player to being a self-produced artist. While taking intensive bel canto lessons, she also began to evolve her current pop-rock sound as she got more into the EDM sound.
Christie Ann’s dance-pop style music reflects heavy influences of house and trap, with subtle reflections of her rock and pop background. Some of Christie Ann’s production influences include Phillip George, Diplo, and Duke Dumont, while her vocal influences include artists such as Ann Wilson and Christina Aguilera.
Christie is springing onto the dance music scene with her first self-produced EP named “Satisified.”
Christie is currently in the process of putting together live performances in Los Angeles, as well as promoting her release online.
